Jennifer Torres
About the Artist
Jennifer Torres is a sculptor and educator based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born in Queens, NY, she began her artistic training as a teenager at the Art Students League in New York City and received her BFA from the Cooper Union. Following her studies at Cooper, she trained as a fine cabinetmaker in New England before obtaining her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Georgia in Athens. With over 20 years of residency in Hattiesburg, Jennifer teaches sculpture at The University of Southern Mississippi.
