Lea Barton
Lea Barton grew up with an outsider's perspective of her home state, coloring her impression of her birthplace with the works of Mississippi authors. Informed by the tapestry of storytelling, Lea's works serve as chapters in a sprawling novel. In lieu of prose, her characters speak of struggle, loss, and vulnerability through a collage of photography, paint, printmaking, aging wallpaper, vintage dress patterns, and old love letters.
