Caroline Goodman tempers realism with wonder. Meticulously vibrant details spring to life as subtle hues surreptitiously illuminate the scene. These touches become Caroline’s own narrative, the story oftentimes spilling off the canvas with painted frames or embroidered liners. Oils, watercolors, canvas, board – Caroline works with whatever medium feels right. After viewing her work in person, it’s not surprising to learn she studied under both Nelson Shanks and Danny Dawson.
