This high energy work moves far beyond our own time and beyond most currently favored topics into its own imaginary refuge, where the artist says he prefers to live. “Although I often infuse my work with personal memories, immediate thoughts and emotions, it’s the timeless speeding realm of visible and hidden energy in our massive exploding universe that interests me the most,” Tamboli said.

The exhibit consists of sixteen paintings and eight sculptures. Edge of Now will be on view through June.
